you should only see about a tenth of a second difference between similar exhaust systems with our setup. The difference between a quarter mile run with my stock 1.75" muffler and no muffler at all was 2 tenths of a second. I have 8000rpm cams and take it up to 7850 for my fastest times.
The MTL is a straight through muffler!!! It is unique, because it passes through the same chamber twice as a straight through with no baffles. So, it is has no further restrictions than a car with a resonator in the b pipe followed by a magnaflow muffler. They both are passing through two resonators.
